ABOUT US
FOUNDER KATHY O'DWYER
The All-Ireland Business Foundation has recognised our commitment to excellence in service and management. This accolade is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who strive to provide the best possible experience for our trainees and partners. Our approach is holistic, focusing not only on the professional development of our trainees but also on their personal growth and cultural integration.

Cork Based
Globally Connected
We believe that our success is measured not just by the number of trainees we welcome to Ireland, but by the larger impact they have on the local community and businesses. Our trainees bring fresh perspectives and skills to the Cork business landscape, which in turn fosters innovation and growth. We are proud to contribute to the dynamism of the local economy, creating a vibrant ecosystem where businesses and individuals can thrive.

Since our founding in 2010, Career Training Internships has grown to be one of Ireland's premier career training and development companies. The partnerships we have formed with European educational institutions have been crucial in our journey. These collaborations have allowed us to offer a diverse range of opportunities to our trainees, ensuring that they receive a well-rounded experience that is tailored to their aspirations.

Our dedication to nurturing emerging talent is strong and steadfast. We continuously seek new ways to enhance our programmes and expand our network of local businesses. Our goal is to remain at the forefront of career training, providing a bridge between education and the professional world.

As we look to the future, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. We are exploring new markets, developing innovative programs, and building on our reputation as Ireland's leading career training and English learning provider. With each passing year, we are inspired by the success stories of our trainees and the positive feedback from our business partners. We remain committed to our mission of empowering individuals through practical experience and contributing to the prosperity of Cork and beyond.

Career Training Internships has earned its place as a provider of opportunity and growth, embodying the spirit of Cork and its people. We are more than just a training organisation; we are a community builder, a catalyst for change, and a nurturer of the next generation of professionals.

Sustainability
The Green Project

Career Training Internships recognises its responsibility in addressing the challenges of climate change and promoting sustainable practices across all areas of our work. Through our daily actions, we aim to create a cleaner, safer and more responsible organisation, while passing these values on to our partners, trainees and wider community.

We are committed to implementing the highest standards of environmental practice and continuously improving the way we operate to reduce our environmental impact. Sustainability is not just part of our policy, it is part of our culture.

CTI also believes in education and awareness. We aim to help all those who engage with us develop a stronger understanding of sustainability challenges, while encouraging practical action and responsibility in everyday life. That’s why we have our own Green Project.

The Green Project encourages trainees to take small, eco-friendly actions during their stay in Ireland and to reflect on how sustainability is promoted in daily life here.
Our purpose is to:
-
Promote respect for host families, workplaces and local communities
-
Encourage environmentally responsible behaviour
-
Inspire trainees to adopt sustainable habits they can continue at home
Each week, trainees will be invited to reflect on their sustainability efforts through our feedback system. This is not an assessment or a test. Instead, it is an opportunity to observe, learn and make small positive changes (reducing waste, conserving energy, supporting local communities etc).
Our Wider Commitment is to:
-
Raising internal awareness among staff about sustainable practices
-
Encouraging individual responsibility for environmental actions
-
Working collaboratively with partners, clients and stakeholders
-
Participating in projects that support environmental protection and community well-being
Our goal is to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable future for current and future generations.
Social Inclusion
A Future for All

Career Training Internships is committed to a workplace and programme offerings that strive toward the ideal of social inclusion. This means we commit ourselves to providing opportunities to people of all cultural and personal backgrounds to participate in our programmes. We believe that this diversity makes us all better.

It is in this spirit that we participate in numerous programmes that bring opportunities to those who have otherwise been excluded in society. Our programme offerings are intended to help provide a leg up, with the belief that by leaving one's comfort zone and gaining experience in a new atmosphere, it becomes easier to leave the past behind and find a new way forward. We have seen the welcoming spirit of the Irish people help the long-term unemployed to find a new passion or direction in their career.

Career Training Internships also works collaboratively with stakeholders from participants, clients, industry, the local community and other stakeholders, to seek to broaden its impact and enhance its work of ensuring that everyone is treated fairly.
